FX-1 modified to run a Kawi 1100 triple and a 148mm pump. I dubbed this ski “F-neXt-1”. This ski was originally built with a Kawi 900 triple, then upgraded to to the 1100. It’s not a cobbled together piece of crap and everything fits and works very well. There’s a build thread here that chronicles the build from 900 to 1100: https://www.x-h2o.com/threads/f-next-1.77277/
The engine is a Group K ported build running 38mm mikuni carbs. The engine has very low hours (like about 10hrs). It has a 7 gallon fuel tank, so it has good endurance. I haven’t run the ski in about 3 years and it will need a battery for sure.
The ski is as fast as you think it would be, but it handles quite well. The hull has custom tubbies, widened tray, front foot hold, carbon ride plate. The ski sounds incredible, more like a street bike than a ski. As much as I think it sounds awesome, my new ride spot is in the middle of a nature preserve and I think it will piss everyone off…….so, it’s up for sale.
ride pics just to show it‘s very rideable in flat or surf.
$6000 or best, pick up in NJ.
