Custom/Hybrid FX1 top / SJ Bottom

Havn,t searched yet, but quick question, Is it possible / has anyone fitted an SJ bottom deck to an FX1 top deck - or am i missing something completely, hence why peeps just switch the pump section ?We have an FX1, a slab nose jetnand an angle grinder revved up and ready to go chopping

yes, you can do anything with a grinder and some fiberglass.

I like the FX bottom hull because it's more challenging and fun to ride. A superjet bottom and FX-1 top means you are essentially riding a superjet with a narrow tray.

Totally defeats the purpose of having an Fx. Pump size is only problem with the Fx. Bottom hull shape is the reason the Fx is as good as it is.

I remember seeing a guy who did the swap and I think he said they actually line up pretty good

Complete pump tunnel yes but the whole bottom? I do not see the point as some have stated already. It's your boat though and it's all about personal preference.
