Yes. Both of my FX1's have b pipes and the stock pumps. MSD enhancer or a adjustable cdi are needed though in my opinion.

Makes a huge difference in my opinion, I have no cavitation what so ever but you will need to increase your rev limit

I'm assuming you already switched out the stock intake grate and prop? If not, a scoop grate with a Skat-Track Swirl 18/23 prop really woke my FX1 up.
