Surfriding Galveston 11-10-12

Had a wicked day at Galveston yesterday. Me, Tom, Larry, Duane, Shawn and Mick tore up some pretty decent surf. Tom threw a few big backies and Larry's rolls were HUGE!! Had some 6 to 7 footers rolling in on the back set. Was a great day with great weather. Couldn't have asked for a better time!!...........................Except for this one instance.
Was great to meet Tom and Shawn, and good to see ole' Mick again. Had a blast! Can't wait until the next run. Tom's a trooper by the way. 10 hours plus on the road each way, for a 5 hour ride. :notworthy:

It was kind of a spur of the moment type deal. Not much planning went into it. Just decided pack up and go basically.

Thats what is awesome about Texas riding, "I'm bored riding at the lake, guess I will drive 4hrs and go ride some surf instead!!!" haha

Right on! I hadn't been down there in quite a while. Probably going on a couple of years. That's not going to happen again. I officially am in love with the surf after this ride. Always had fun...but this time had a freakin blast!
