There's 80% during a 3 hour window saturday afternoon....tapering to 30% before and after. Also, wavewatch chart is showing 5-7'. If anyone is there, I'm going

I'm still game. Washing machine conditions and lightning bolts haven't skeered me off before. I'm just saying, don't expect it to be pretty 5-7 foot rollers.

Well,
Go ahead and start the torment. I am going to wuss out.
The radars are showing these storms going right from the gulf, across Galveston, and on it to Beaumont.

We aren't getting much of the rain in Houston, but Galveston is catching the the Southwest corner of the storm.

Sorry to start yet another Galveston thread only to back out at the last minute. I am hereby giving up my "Galveston" thread starting privilages. It is now up to someone else.

Once agian, I appologize and hope that if you do come down, the weather cooperates.

Right now is the brunt of the storm (according to the forecast). Friday afternoon shows 80% and tapers by 9:00 pm tonight. Tomorrow and sunday are 30%-40%. I'll be there tonight. Skinnyman and I will be riding tomorrow and sunday.

Quick from what I have heard is that it is random not every body, for me I plan to start going the long way and by pass the ferry !!!

yes your correct, but that one chance to get caught.. :scared:

I have to do the ferry so I guess it will be carrying empty cans and fill them up when i get there.
