what ratio of gas and oil are you guys running? 40:1, 50:1...etc

Anywhere between 40:1 and 50:1. It depends how much my hands are shaking when I pour. I gotta lay off the caffeine.

Why such a wide variation? I thought 40:1 kinda the standard? And everyone on this site should be running the "good stuff".

I ran Amsol 40:1 in my 650sx.

The guy I bought my 07 Sj told me what he used but I forgot? I was told it was the best? Made the fuel green? I used his tank of what ever that was and has run another 40:1 Amsol. Stock except Bpipe.

My cousin and i ran our 650sx's last year at 40:1 on the blue amsoil synthetic. I will probably run the same ratio in my 701 yammi this year just so we all dont have different fuel mixtures on the shorline.

Dry pipe full limited super jet I mix 2 gallons 110 octane with 3 gallons 94 octane in a 5 gallon jug at 50:1 with Amsoil Dominator. Been running it like this since new in 2000 with no problems.

SXR 800 - Freeride ported, Wetpipe, 6 degree timing advance, R & D 29 cc head I will be running the same fuel mixture as above but at 32:1 with Amsoil Dominator..... Haven't had her out yet after porting and head.


I'd rather be on the safe side than risk deto anyday. I also do plenty of WOT runs.........

Gotta use a eye drop to get the precise mixture. Time costly, but very effective!
