Gas shocks for hood

I cant remember which store I went to but I think it was Autozone, When my Duel protec ones whore out i got them there at Autozone and the #s say 4678 2455 across them.Hope that helps. They fit perfect.

Mcmaster has tons of gas shock. If you have an original, you can measure the overall length and stroke and get one that is close. They usually have several different strengths also.

What about the ss bracket?

I'm not sure what that bracket looks like, but they've got lots of end mounts for gas shocks as well. Something might work.

I've seen boats with the dual shock type...that's the setup that I want. My hood is wobbly enough already. Where did the dual set up come from? Thanks

I got the single setup on mine, and it is stable enough that I have not had any issues after 2 seasons.

One of the best non-performance mods I have done, IMO
