Finally (got-R-done!) :djsmilie: New (used) type 4 Riva Dry pipe, V Force 2 reeds
ADA high comp head with girdle kit, (37) domes, and of course all the headaches that go along with it :crying: I am now a real believer in ( you can't use too much WD 40) My 05 SJ carbs turned out to be the biggest pain in the ass!!! But, with the help of my Bro CRAB we managed to get all the parts off and back together, incl new primer kit, jets, and tee handle air screw adjusters.
Everything else went pretty smooth:biggrin: Sat is my big test ride, X your fingers

Hey Matt got my hardware out of my wrist 10 days ago and stitches removed today so I should be ready to roll by the 29th:usa:

Whoa - cool....
:thewave:
What made you decide on the dry pipe vs B?

I want to ride it too! I should be able to make the ride on the 29th...

since when do dry pipes have more brap? I assume by brap you mean low end and not just high right?

any dyno charts?
Not just any drypipe, specifically the Riva freeride drypipe. It makes great bottom and wicked mid to top, and at about $300 used you can't go wrong.

Heck even my old Type 4 makes good power all the way around. You just have to take the time and make sure you set it up right (proper alignment of the manifold and chamber) and it is reliable.
