So im about to board the plane, headed to Tampa bay for Gasparilla. Pirates and alcohol!
Anyone else going? Anyone ever been?
any good shops in that area? This will be the first un-jetski related weekend in over a year, not sure if I can handle it.

I learned that lesson years ago.. spent a night in the tank over it.. luckily they didn't put me on THE LIST.. I can still buy a house in an upscale area without a little blip showing up on THE MAP.

they are really starting to crack down. Dont drink unless you are legal age, don't fight, don't pee on peoples lawns, dont bring your own beer.

Gasparilla is awesome, you will be wasted and make out with Pirate chicks! Take lots of pictures of boobies and post em. It's been to long since I have been down there for it, but I definitely miss it.

Be careful. have a blast. X-scream shop is about a hour away from tampa there phone number is 727-442-7700. Don't know any tampa shops..

in my experience coolers are frowned upon but if you are carrying around a can of canned beer no one bothers you. i walked in with an 18 pack bud light cans but after that ran out i went to the publix and bought another case with no problem.

USF grad here- Mons is overpriced import skanks and is crowded with let say 'tourists'. Hit up the Vu for the good stuff. I dont remember a single gasparilla....enjoy

LOL... I used to go to Mons when it was $2 cover, $4 if you brought in your own beer.


This year at Gasparilla, they *say* no coolers at all. Beer can only be supplied by street vendors. Not sure if they are selling cans or cups... not sure if they'll confiscate the contraband or not... so much for a "Pirate fest"
