See, that's not too far off from DK seniors comp hull that I asked them to re-inforce. Mine when I picked it up was 247 with an odyssey, now running a Jetworks battery. So 250ish isn't bad, but I can guarantee Chris's hull is built more rigid then mine.
I bought DK juniors world final gen1, an knew I'd destroy it. He's like 80 pounds soaking wet, I'm 185 dry.lol So I sold the gen1, an then got his dads gen2 competition hull. It's still plenty light, an I have no doubt if or when I screw it up, they'll help me out. They've already gone out of there way to assemble my ski due to various reasons. You'll love how it rides an handles, I do compared to a Wdk rev hull.
I'd never order a hull from Wdk direct, but having owned two of them, both carbon, I'll say the fit an finish is top notch. Except having to cut EVERY bolt to fit, an getting any kind of customer service or help from them was non-existent. The ski clinic shoots me random texts seeing how I like it, an if I can come ride with them. They're def all about customer service IMO. The whole ship weight compared to bare hull weight was def a surprise for some, yet having been there an met everyone at the shop. Not a doubt in my mind about them standing behind their product.
Once you get used to the hull, an the timing, you'll be flipping in no time. Coming off a waterlogged Wdk rev, I'm still working on timing an I only have about 30-40 min of actual ride time on my gen2, but there's not a doubt in my mind that I can flip it. Where as the rev, which actually belonged to the ski clinic, I tried everything an it just wasnt happening. IMO, customer service goes a LONG ways when spending a lot of $$, an the ski clinic has yet to let me down.
A lot of drama in this thread, all I'll say is, enjoy an let the hull speak for itself.
