Custom/Hybrid Gen3 BOB Build

Just got the word from Derrick at the Ski Clinic that they're spraying the gelcoat in the molds tonight!! The hull should be done by march 8! I can't say it enough, but the Ski Clinic is :):):):)ing awesome to deal with.
I decided to go with extra strong layup for my carbon Gen 3 pro series hull. I have no idea how to flip or roll, so having the extra re-enforcement should be a good thing :splatt:

The specs for the build

2012 BOB Gen3 hull
Jetworks/Blackjack performance 888cc 5mm stroker
Dual 46mm Blackjacks
MSD Total loss
B-pipe with 52mm bored headpipe and exhaust manifold
Dasa intake with VF2's
144mm Solas mag pump
New style xmetal waterbox
Thrust straight pull trim
Cold fusion motor mounts
RRP billet handpole with ski clinic chinpad

I don't have any pics yet, but I should be getting some as they assemble my hull over the next week or so.Here's a layout of the graphics for my hull

I want to thank Jetmainiac, Ski clinic and Art Gomez from Jetworks/Blackjack performance for the help on the build. I've ordered everything for my it from them except for the trim. These are three best guys in the industry and a lot of other companys should take notes!

I never flip nothing before my BOB and I did it in the first 5 gallons of gaz. Here the progression in only 2 month of riding. Still no setup wake, but I was on 735cc SS fibergalss hull.

Uo can do it easily with that stroker engine gen3 hull, be confident !!

Confidence is what its all about! You'll never land a flip if you just hope for the best, you've got to convince yourself that you can do it, and actually commit! Flips will be soooooo easy on your set up.

Depends if you like cold water and cold weather, but the lakes are usually open from end of April until November. However there's only 3 months of warm water riding

Here in Quebec, last year from April 10th to November 5th, but its crazy cold. I hear some dont ride in FL during winter because water too cold, just imagine here in April...loll

I used to ride mid May to mid Oct outside Toronto. Now that I live in the San Francisco area it is year round, but to be honest the ocean is never any warmer than near-freezing anyways. Although it doesn't freeze over like the lake used to...

With the 5mm suit I have for the ocean now, I could probably ride year round in Toronto (save for ice).

Ok, your 3 months of warm water is prolly cool temps to us in Fl...our water gets 88-91 in the gulf.

Yep it's true...you would think everyone would ride year round in Fl...of course the wind/waves for most part occur during cooler months, except for summer storms.
