MC did rule supercross for years. He almsot won three title on three different brands. I remeber when he rattled off 13 victories straight, lost one, and won the last race of the year. I thought to myself no one will ever be able to top that, but someone did... RC. Just like when RC won every outdoor moto. I thought no one will ever do that, but someone did... Bubba.

To the best of my knowledge only one person has ever won a 125, 250, and a 500 national championship. Anyone want to take a guess?

and the question is "who is rick johnson"? if im not mistaken!

You guys got it. Funny thing is... when the guy told me that Jeff Ward was the only guy to ever win the 125, 250, and 500 cc championships, it was back in the two Mike's era. So I guess MX Kied hadn't won the 250cc championship yet. I was 16 then I believe, I will be 29 in a few weeks. Man do the years fly by! back then Laracco and Kiedrowski had some great battles.

What I miss about the older days was that there were at least 5 guys who could take it on any given day/night. There was Emig, Laracco, Kiedrowski, Mike Craig, Henry, Ezra Lusk, Windham, Stanton, McGraft, ect... then once MC faded, RC took over and it just kind of seems like there was just one guy winning everything. Now that guy is Bubba. I really wish there was some more good guys so there is good racing again.

i hear ya those were the days of epic battles.now it's down to if bubba finishes its usually a runaway.reed kinda hangs around waiting for bubba to wreck then its all him.back in those 10 yrs or so no one would of thought someone could have won every outdoor event now 2 have done it and its just not as fun as a spectator

Yeah I am with you...

Charmichael did it twice AND he won every race another year, I guess he lost a first moto or two in those 24 motos.

Heck back in the day, Supercross came on at like 3 AM on a Friday morning. I would have to record it because there was no way I was going to stay up. I would get up the next morning and rewind it back far enough to see who had won.
