update:

more bad news

the tumor is cancer and is in a very advanced state and has spread to his lymph nodes and intestines. i talked to him a couple times yesterday, and i think rickster went and visited him. he seems positive over the phone, and thats a good thing, but rick could probably give more details.

this sucks! it sucks for him and his 13 y/o daughter, megan.

Loui my prayers will be with you. My father has fought cances of his adrenal gland for 20 years and won everytime. you can too. I dont know if you are a man of faith but it sure does help.

First I have to say a BIG THANKS to all of you guys for the supports, It as been a mixed info from the XR test and Doc office. My Pancreas as a tumor 7cm x 4 cm and the pancreas was all swell up due to the compression of the duct bil blocked. On Monday they put 2 drain on the side of my chest and on Tues they did a bio of the mass. the CT count is low and hopefully the bio will return NEG. Yesterday they removed the 2 drain and put shunt in the duct bil and these will need to be be changed after 4 to 8 week for larger one the aging for some more permanent maybe at time of the surgery to remove the mass.
I'm home now and in pain even med does not provide much comfort.

You sound strong of mind and spirit (of course you are, you’re on this site, right)!!! It should benefit you well. Have faith, patience and keep your sense of humor over the small things which might seem big at times now, and then barrel through all the big things with sheer will-power, like you’re taking the biggest wave you’ve ever seen (and enjoying it because you know without doubt you are going to ride it out)… we are all praying for you! I began praying last night when I first read your words. When I visit my grandmother again after getting over this cold (a cancer survivor for eight years now…knocked Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma into remission three different times since 2000 with a saucy, POSITIVE attitude and faith in God), we will both be praying for you and your family regularly! She knows her stuff, and says it takes all of these things...she's spunky proof! :headbang:

SLF.... we should should set up a paypal fund that everyone can donate $5 or so to send him a gift (flowers..ridng video or something) just to helf keep his spirits high whenhe is in there... i know when i was in the hospital withmy problems people stoping buy and small gifts made all the difference..... if ya give me the info of where he is at i'll be more than happy to do it..... i just don't know him personally

Thanks guys. I also praying for the wellness and future of my daughter.
I will know better by Thursday regarding the course of treatment. I have a first meeting with the cancer doc's.

Get well soon buddy. My grandma had non-Hodgkin's lymphoma, and beat it a couple times. It's been in remission since 05'. You can do it man!
