has anyone been able to get get in touch with the new 24-7 ive been trying to contact him now for months about gettin 2 of my cylinders back i tried the shop number and his cell phone.also my buddy has ordered footholds from him 2 sets and they were paid for and he only sent one set and he is having the same problem.anyone else having problems contacting him

Hurt his back or not if he is going to run a business and take peoples money he should have the decency to at least call them back.
I have a friend that paid for the h20 hood kit and mark won't return his calls

Being that this is a feedback thread I'll go ahead and post some real feedback.

Around Christmas time I purchased a Carbon Fiber Chinpad from him and he hooked me up with a real good deal because at the time he was running some specials. I needed the chinpad shipped to me by the Friday before Christmas because I was leaving for Ft. Lauderdale for Xmas and I would be doing some riding in Ft. Lauderdale. I had already sold my stock chinpad so I had nothing ro ride with.

Anyways I called him that Thursday to find out where my chinpad was and he said that UPS returned it to him for some reason. He felt very bad and shipped out the chinpad overnight and I had the chinpad the next morning. I saw on the box what shipping cost him and it was close to half the price of the chinpad:bigeyes:, but did not charge me a penny extra for shipping.

The chinpad was made by him and not Maros and I must say it was laid up very nicely, is very strong, and fits perfectly with no modification like some others require.

Now I must also say that a very good friend of mine tried to buy a nosepiece off him to match his H2O-X conversion hood and Mark was really bad about getting back to him and helping him out.

I'm not sure whats going on lately, but I am very curious to know why there are people not receiving their stuff. Maybe he has taken on too much or maybe there is a legitimate reason as to what has happened the past few weeks. Hopefully someone can provide some sort of explanation.

I spoke with Mark yesterday and he is really out of it (on pain killers) because of a pinched nerve in his back. I know that he is in bad shape because he is always telling me about the latest carbon work he has done and yesterday he didn't even mention it.

A lot of people on here really seem to be digging to find something wrong with his product. It's really kind of sad. He really has a lot to offer us, but for some reason, a lot of you are knocking him. Doesn't the fact that Bogart has put trust in him mean anything?

I would say that he has come from nowhere and already made a positive impact on the sport with what he has done in Europe with Ant. That's noteworthy.

Is Ant's ski a Stock hull? with a Full Throtle Power plant?

I talked to Mark a few times and he seems like a decent guy. The ski I purchased has a 850cc ADA motor from Mark. When mark sold it it had less than 5 hours and the other guy rode it for 10 minutes starter went out. IT was replaced but never made it back to the water. Then it had sit for a year or so. And before I bought the ski I talked to Mark, told me that if there was anything wrong with the motor when I finally get it in the water that he would rebuild it for me for free since it has so little time on it. He said what ever it needed new crank, sleves, anything that he would take care of it. That sounds like a heck of a deal since I am the 2nd owner of a virtually new motor.

And I am hopeing that it hits like Ants motor does. I am super stoked to go ride now. I might have to ride before it warms up... LOL

I can see him not calling customers back if he's out. But somebody needs to grab the reigns and return calls even if it's just to say "this is the deal..."
I can see being upset for paying up front and then not getting a call back.

The cutsomer is always right :28: :rolleyes:

Come on people this tangential, negative thread based on "I heard from a Myspace Hooker in Bangkok" is the reason I am fed up with all the name calling, bellyaching, BS of this site. Base your opinions and comments on FACTS not "A Firm Source"

Fact: Ant is a sponsored Rider thus R&D issues will come up, but NONE have contrary to the MySpace authorities.

Fact: Mark flew to the UK to dial Ant's boat in. Would he do that if he wasn't looking to make sure the ski was a solid product? The Euro market is blossoming and has a huge market potential. Why would he send a product that isn't going to be the best image to promote future sales?

Fact: Mark messed his back up and has been slow to respond to people. Maybe in a pain killer induced fog he mis-shipped something or was late to get something out. Did he correct or offer to correct the problem(s) if there were any? Maybe if he were able to post on here in reply people would know the non-myspace version of things.

Fact: A very well respected motor builder on here has a very similar back issue right now. He is a little behind and slow to respond but I have not heard a peep about that from people. Why because just like Mark he has contacted the people after a few days to tell them what is going on and if something needed to meet a deadline he still met it. That is what good costumer service is. I would expect that from LPW, Team Scream, X-metal, WCF or 24/7 that is flat out what a good company does.

I met Mark once maybe twice so it isn't like I am a MARK cheerleader this is common sense and common respect. Give the guy a chance he has been kicked in the teeth from the start.

For what it's worth the times I have talked to Mark he has been respectful and not once said something negative about another builder / shop / manufacturer etc.

Yes I understand the issues between Paul and Mark! I probably understand a lot better then most the people on here since I actually consider Paul a personal friend and I would like to think he still considers me a friend. My statements above have nothing to do with any of that, can't people see the difference?

Flame away at me for what I have typed I really don't care. I probably won't log in for a few more days maybe a week because frankly I have better things to do then sit on here reading flames and bashings.

We do not influence any feedback threads, nor do we take sides. This is a different situation with Marks Status here, but I am not going to tell goose, "hey, mark cannot post here, so you cannot post feedback."

All I/we can do is keep the peace, and keep it civil.......... should have cleaned it up over the weekend but I have a new little girl at home and spend my time with her...........

Here is some feedback on 24/7. I stopped in to see Mark sat because I heard his back was messed up. He is in a world of hurt but still trying to get orders out to people. We got to talking about a project i am working on for a friend. Before I know it Mark was helping me foam the ski I am working on(He poured I did the heavy work because of his back.) Despite being in pain he was positive about everything. I saw some of the new 24/7 products and they looked great quality is just like what Chris put out.

thats funny...you guys took it to mean that BK has some bias against mark...i saw it as helping mark and full throttle because people were spreading "heresay" rumors about the quality of his work...why is that bad?

it seems to me BK did the best thing here and brought the thread back to where it should have been (and then i can come along and jack it again:biggrin:)...
