Getting a spray pattern out of low jet?

Tapped the hole in my exhaust for a mikuni low jet and would like to get it to spray into the chamber vs stream. Anyone have any luck notching or doing anything else to get a spray pattern out of it?

Carb jets dribble fuel into the carbs. They don't actually spray. If you're looking for a true spray pattern in your exhaust then @The Duckster has the answer.

You might get a jet to spray with enough water pressure and if it's located at the very bottom of your tapped NPT fitting. But, then you risk it backing out and falling into your exhaust.

Spray bar.

Well I guess that answers the question. Wouldn't of thought it'd take all that to get a cone shape but their it is. Good find.

Wonder how strong that coil
Is, would want it to break off and go back in the cylinder some how. Very interesting find

I remember OMC doing something to this effect with their FICHT fuel injection system. They spent years trying to figure out why the injectors were always causing issues. I forget exactly what they did but I know they ended up adding I think a spigot from the center of the injector or a bridge tip like a spark plug to force the spray to fan outward. It corrected the issue of hardware at any rate. Perhaps adding a little spark plug like bridge to the bottom of the jet would help force the water to fan out, maybe make the bridge tip flat and wide like a mini spoon upside down? It would take some patience to get it to bond but silver solder can handle some pretty serious heat and if the jet is going to be used back toward the tail of the pipe then it shouldn't affect the solder at all.

I have our own Watcon spray bars here, with 1/4, or 3/8 hose barb fitting. Can be tapped for Mikuni Main jet for further restriction/tuning.

I put the 3/8 ones into the pipe stinger end. If you are running a factory pipe blaster chamber, I cut off the stock tube, and tap for 1/8 pipe thread, and install our spray fitting.

I am currently running your 1/4 sprayer with mikuni jet. But I am trying something different on this one. Thank you though!

Maybe try one of these. You have to install them backwards. Be sure to use the best filter before the jet. You have to punch the tapered end to seal it off. I've used them as a third circuit in carbs as well.

What pipe are you working on?
Coffman Rocket pipe, I drilled and threaded the stock water injection spot on the chamber and am playing with different jet sizes. Then when I take her to Pismo I will increase or remove the jet so I don't have to worry about sand plugging it up. I also put in a spray nozzle before the coupler on the chamber that I can easily turn on and off depending on the riding I will be doing. More or less it has been a wet winter and I like to tinker.
