Getting shocked

IMG_0055.JPG i have a wdk RIP that I bought last week and now I'm having a few electrical issues. It's a 701 62t with a wdk manifold and pipe, ada girdled head, dual 44 carb, msd enhancer, and lightened flywheel. I had an issue with my battery dying every time I went out to ride, yesterday I went out without wearing gloves for the first time, and I could feel an electrical current all over my arm while riding, what could be causing this? Could this be the reason why my battery dies after it sits for a day?

check all the wires make sure nothings wore through or anything like that, spark plug cables not on something that could go through even if cant see could be weak on the inside. Make sure your ground is tight too.

Had this happen before and it was a partial break in ground wire right at the electrical box. This black wire runs from the stator plate and is bolted to the inside of the ebox. Your motor is searching for a ground through out the hull.

Problem solved! Ground wire to the bilge came unplugged which was draining my battery and giving my a nice poke through the throttle. Ski was running bad because the bilge came loose and was wedged under the drive shaft causing vibrations, thanks to everyone who helped me!

If its electrical pulled from a donor those wires could be over 20 years old now....replacr your ground with tinned wire
