girdle head recommendations

So its junk but you have no complaints ??

I would run a riva over a ada as the domes are alot better supported than the ada
I have never had an issue with a head cap on a riva head and i am wondering what issues people have had

If you fit the rubber orings coorectly then they never leak

you didnt read my post right. i said their HARDWARE is junk. as in the girdle bolts/nuts/garbage. i dont particularly care for the idea of the headcap either, but ive never had a problem with it leaking or anything. as far as the domes being supported better than an ada, i wouldnt know as my riva head is a nonremovable dome head. all in all, i have no complaints about the riva head itself. im using ADA harware on it and im much happier with it like that so far.

i still prfer the ada over the riva.

Don't know about Greater, but the Riva domes I've seen have been very inconsistent. Overpriced too for what you get.

I have noticed that not all Riva domes are created equal. I have found several domes of the same size with the squish relief vary as much as .015 difference. I have also had alot of trouble with Riva when ordering replacement domes.:bs2: The head itself seems to be a good unit and I am running it because it came as a package deal when I built my 760. I will buy the ADA if I ever purchase another head because IMO it is a better product.

hey thanks all......i decided to go with the ada head. got the 170psi domes with it just to be on the safe side. jetworks seemed very helpful and had a good price.

have run ada and riva heads had good experience and reliability with both- like the ada better has less seals to replace and parts to clean when reinstalled
