Go pro Solid mount to helmet

Seen a couple too many Go Pros lost in the water so I got some stainless screws and bolted it right to my helmet!

It usually isn't the sticky pad that fails.
For helmet mounting, a $10 ProfoundDynamics GoPro lanyard does the trick. For ski mounting, I'd go with the Cold Fusion mount.

I mounted mine on my giro in the same spot and used the viser screw for safety rope. Need to figure out how I will be mounting on the new shred ready.

The only sensible solution is to attach a RN filler neck to your helmet.

^That doesnt look safe at all..just make a wire loop around the gopro base and the helmet, so you dont die next time you try a roll..

there is plenty of clearance from the screws to my head, unless the helmet breaks there is no way it can touch me

Problem with mount is that it still relies on the plastic mounting tabs of the camera housing
