Good idea, bad idea?

Ok so I'm somewhat new to the free ride scene. I've been to the Carolina beach free ride for the past 3 events and have a ball each time. I meet new people and others I know from the this community.

So to aid myself and others, what do you guys think about me bringing a bunch of blank yard signs we can just stick down in the sand infront of each persons camp site? We can all write our screen name on them and when strolling down the beach it would help put names with faces. At least it would me anyway. There have been many times I find out months later I met or rode with guys at the freeride and I actually talk and post with them often.

So... Sound like something worth doing or more trouble then it's worth? I know some of you guys are veterans and already know everybody but me I have a sucky memory and enjoy meeting new riders.

I think it's a great idea. I'm horrible with names and faces and get overwhelmed at the freerides. There's always a couple specific people I want to track down and signage at everyone's spot would make that so much easier. Plus I'm a visual learner so seeing the names along with the faces might help me remember more people. :)

Well I raided the dumpster at the code enforcement office today and got around 30 metal wire stands. I can get more but anyone have an idea of how many we might need. And the signs can be big enough that if there are two or three guys camping together they can all put there names on one sign in front or there tent.

30 sounds good to me and I think that is a neat idea. It'll be fun to see somebody that is a dick on here that I am friends with in person. Or some douche in real life that helped me out on here. I know a lot of people in person but not on here and vice versa.
