Super Jet Gopro Vid, First nose stabs

Taken with gopro hero hd 2 on 1080p. I was on my new 2008 superjet this weekend, so far got quick steer, limited pipe, wcf footholds and some other misc mods. First time out, first time attempt at nose stab. Long video, skip to 6:00 and 8:00. I think I really need to pull up more on the holds to get that nose down. Maybe even some more air rather than some small rollers in the inlet. Check it out

get your weight more forward coming off the wave. a little more air helps too. you'll get em.

44f water temp, 50f air temp

You might be turning a little too early too and that's why you're landing on your side.

I notice u have riser bars, did u shorten ur pole? Cut two inches off its a free mod thar makes a world of difference between .. theirs threads on how to do it. It would do the trick i was having the same problem as you

throw your body out to the side like a 180. if your body is going in the right direction, your ski should follow

it was colder then 50f on the water with the on shore wind. maby 50f mid island. only thing that was cold was hands

Nah I never shorten the pole, it feels short enough for me already. It's the 08 pole so its already -2, i got cf riser plate with 50mm rrp bars. Im using the shmity1 steering kit.

What quick steer system do you run? How does it compare to stock?

Shmity1 on this forum makes a kit to put different caable. it works good
