Blaster Got a B1!

Picked up a B1 off criagslist yesterday night. Never even ridden one but it seemed like too good of a deal to pass up, what do you guys think? $800 with a title. Compression is good, appears to be unmolested, all stock. The only problem is the waterbox is blown in half. Has a paintjob, which is not too bad (minus that its peeling, no evidence of prep work..fail!) And some gay stickers. But the bottom hull is untouched, in great shape. As is the pump, impeller, and such. Cant wait to get it on the water! New hydroturf as well.

I was gonna try to reglass the waterbox back together when my US composites order arrives this evening. Good idea? Bad idea? From some googling it seems like these blaster boxes like to blow up

I just got a good deal on a blaster a couple weeks ago too, $800 with a bill of sale and didn't run.
Put a new bendix and stator and now it rips. These things are really fun.

The hulls a little beat up but mine had:
-limited b-pipe
-ocean pro ride plate
-worx intake grate
-Jetinetics charging flywheel
-msd enhancer
-R&D intake manifold
-dual buckshot carbs
-impeller (not sure what yet)
-tiny tach
-Renthal bars w/ ruffian grips
-Fly billet throttle

They are deffinitly out there if you look enough. I picked up my first one last year. Its a 93 came with a tittled trailer bar risers factory mod pipe and bars for 1300. Haul was a little rough and the seat was junk. Then the other day I found this one for 1700. Its a 96 and we all know what that means. Completly stock and as close to mint as you are going to find for a 15 year old ski. I am so pumped.
