I like your idea of having the gp1200 running and rideable while working on the X2 hull. And actually, time in the garage is kinda what's valuable to me. I have 8 months to build this thing and working on this in my shop will be much needed therapy, taking my mind off stuff. It's true, it's both problems rolled up into one, but in the end, I think that's one of the things that's gonna make it cool. But who knows, I may wind up finding a sweet deal on an 800sxr motor, or kawi triple, or whatever and just going that route, and selling the gp1200, making some profit to put back into the build. As always, I appreciate everyone's posts man, this is a awesome community to be a part of, online and on the water.
