Hi there over the Christmas period gave me chance to fit my footholds to the old sx650, thought it would be a big project but turned out to be quite easy and a good opportunity to work on the ski, i made a nice sized work shop at the side of my house this year and have heating and lights TV DVD and all the mod con to make it a nice place to work on my ski in the winter,

The back of the ski has been cut as I’m also in the process of fitting an x2 trim nozzle and it’s still work in progress,

That came out nice and smooth. Did you use fiberglass around the hold or just resin? I haven't installed footholds but I though using fiberglass with the resin around the hold was a must...

I sanded the surfaces down to brake through the gell coat , then painted resin round the hole then around the foot holds, then put them together and riveted in place, then brushed resin round the joint and left to dry over night. next day i sanded the joint and the surounding area and put the fibreglass matting and resin over the joints, left this to dry over night. then a light sanding and another coat of matting and resin, left to dry, light sanding and brushed resin all over to seal. followed buy a light coating of white paint to show up any problems,

With your attention to detail I wish you were over here in the states so you could work at our manufacturing facility. Keep up the good work.
