Freestyle Got robbed

Just happened to us last week. 6k in damage just in the ATTEMPT to break in before the alarms went off.

The doors close like normal doors but also have pins that go vertically into the top and bottom of the door frame. After he couldn't break through that he tried to break our two double layered 1/4 inch pieces of glass windows. As far as we are away, he never made entry into the house.

On the bright side, his car got stuck. We've had rains and he parked on the grass assuming so he could unload easier. 2 wheel drive and wet grass doesn't mix. Hopefully justice will be served.

Overall not to smart of a guy and caused nothing but harm. I don't understand why someone would break into a glass that is as clear as day has an alarm system.

All he could have stolen were wall mounted TV's. Good luck with that one...

Anyways, sorry for your loss. Hope justice will be served and some belongs can be recovered!

I was thinking the same thing after that guy posted the comment "sucks to be you". Didn't say anything because I don't call people out anymore. Just ignore it.

I hate hearing stories like this, and the sad thing is, it's happening everyday. Someone stole my dads dump trailer a month or so ago, He paid 8k for it, and only had it for 2 weeks. I put locks and alarms on everything, but like others have said, if they want it, they'll do anything to get it.

I am glad I live in an area where theft isn't too big of an issue. People steal, but usually aren't ballsy enough to take anything big or break into houses unless they have been vacant for a while. Further north its a different story though.

Alot of the thefts around here are purely drug related and they are typically looking for chemicals for making meth, or stuff they can pawn to purchase supplies.

Best of luck with the recovery of your stolen items. If its by chance a small area it wouldn't hurt to maybe drop some pictures off at the scrap yards so they can be on the lookout for those items.

Hackjob criminals always take the path of least resistance unless there is something really worth getting....so a paintball sentry would do the trick, even a dummy camera works.I've heard German Shepards work pretty good also See video - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qfi5FVs63Jo&feature=related 1:10 is my favorite part the second dog owns him

Sucks about your stuff man-hope you recover it

right on! only most of those dogs are Belgian Malinois. pound for pound are about the toughest dog Ive ever seen. to look at them you dont think much of em. but to see one at work is amazing. Those dogs are badass and they love to work.

If you like dogs and need protection that is the dog to get. your stuff will be very safe and have a good friend always around and happy to see you.

That's ridiculous man. Hopefully it will inspire some other people to keep a close eye on their stuff, especially in the garage. My garage is always locked, unless I'm in it.
Hope you catch the guy..
