i didnt see a slotted hole or any adjustablitly to it. however it was a while ago. and i could give it a second look. but i dont think its adj.

That would piss me off. If you're going to buy it, then why wouldn't they order one? I'm sure you'd be willing to put down a deposit in advance so what's the big deal? Laziness? stupidity? all of the above?
Oh and by the way, there are dealers that have them hear in the Tampa/Clearwater area...that's a few hours closer to you
I'm a little frustrated with the local attitude. "We never sell any of those" "Your the first person to ask for one" "We can't afford to have slow moving product in our inventory." Or they will order if I'm willing to pay a grand over retail.
Last month I thought I was getting somewhere. I go into Big Number One. Get greeted by a pleasant salesman. I tell him I want a Super jet. The guy goes back and looks at his inventory. Comes back and tells me they have one in the crate around back. He says if we can negotiate a price will I put down a deposit. I told I would do one better pay for the whole thing. (credit card of course) He is writing up the paperwork he passes it to me for me to fill out my personal information and I see the Model number is for a Gpr. I ask him about. He tells me hold on and let me check with my manager. He comes back shaking his head, apologizes for the confusion. He made the excuse that he sold motorcycle not watercraft. I ask will he order one. He told his manager said "that half watercraft inventory is on backorder and it would be difficult to get one." It was plain to see that they were uninterested in a measly $6500 sale when they could nail some sucker double that for a couch.

I looked at pretty closely at the "trim". You could pretty easily fabricate or drill some holes yourself to make the trim "statically" adjustable.

what happened to Smiths here in TTOwn. Also, check with Ryan Hardwick in GA, Give Tiny a pm, he can get you in contact, Ryan use to race GPR's and SXR's, he would get you one, they are in Conyers. Mountain Adventures is the name I think.
Smith "Couldn't locate one" The trick is to find a dealer that has one, so i'm only out fuel for pick up. Not additional shipping charges too. I will call mountain adventures tommorrow.

The 07' is an awesome machine. I love my 05' I would never ditch it for an 08'. I just want to add the 08' to my herd because it is different.
