Had a new pilot run out of gas today & landed on the beach. When we got to the Beach all three gear had sank into the beach & sitting in water. Got a few guys & moved the plane onto some harder sand. I jumped into it & fired it up. Some guy down for Bike week got it on youtube so I thought I would post it.

I bet it would get the MAN going.
30 day slap on the wrist for it doesn't sound too bad though. He'll still be cleaning out his shorts by the time the suspension ends.

I have a place out on the St. Johns river... and my neighbor has a landing strip on his part of the property and his rich buddies all have their own planes, so they fly in for weekend trips. Alcohol may or may not be involved in their flights....

Well one day i see one come in to land out on the river while I'm out on my pontoon boat. Next thing you know, I am rescuing a 80 year old man out of his sea plane and tugging the sunken plane over to the shore. The damn dude landed with his gear down and didnt hear his alarm. Windshield was all shattered up, and I'm positive half the plane was damaged beyond effective repair at that point.

But then to make matters worse I helped the fire department tow the plane up a 10 foot bank to get it onto land using a cherry picker. So that plane was definitely not flying after that....

Nice. Never had any of my guys land off-field, but I have been on the wrong end of a nice phone call from Ft. Myers Approach after one of them mouthed off to a controller.

P.S. Need an MEI?

i live very close to our local FBO we had a player last weekend run out of fuel and land in a field . About a year ago my brother and I busted some military air space .... He had a little splaining to do he's been flying about 15 years. They really watch you close after 911 .
