Well, Yes they are worth the price............ if you look I bid the thing to $551, I just didn't think it was going to go over that.

The cost of fabricating & welding all those pieces is a heavy task. It would put the new cost well over $1k here. Wax, if you can bring the price down into the $800 price range, you will do well with it.

Yes, definately different. I would not say night and day, but I tried one of each back to back on the same motor and the Blaster Mod was all bottom end and did not seem to rev-out. The tnt had as much bottom, but kept on pulling thru the rpm range.

Oh, and the B1 Mod pipe takes up sooooo much room in the hull, you cant get to anything. The tnt is a breeze to work around and take off if needed. And for what its worth, the TNT is about 1.3 lbs lighter than the B1 Mod & uses one less bracket...

just my 2 cents.

i dont know what the price would be
its something i have to check out
i will send it to the fabricator and see what he comes back with

i raised my max bid to $666.66 with 2 mins left. i had a manifold and head pipe laying around with no chamber. they were thrown into a deal as spares. so i only have $600 into a hole pipe setup now.

I can’t believe someone would bid that much for a chamber that looks like an armadillo.

so whats the physical difference between that and the blaster Mod pipe?

it looks to have more curvature at the end?
maybe slightly more diameter?

is there any baffling inside or is it just a armadillo shaped tube with a cone end and a center bleed hose connect?

I dont really see the difficulty in producing them.

looks like something I could weld in mygarage out of scrap stainless strips.

anybody got some hard diminsions on one?

these long winter nights in the garage might get more productive.

Boy I wish it would be as simple as that....................

a chamber is about volumes & reflex points. over all length & shape play a big part of how the energy waves make their way to the stinger end & reflex back to the ex port opening. The only way you could make one yourself, would be to have an existing chamber & make cardboard templates . Then fit everything up in a jig & weld.
Lots of work my friend. I like your enthusiasm, but it's a lot more complicated than you think.

I understand a little about the volume and wave reflection..

the conical shape and the diameters have an effect on the speed of a given mass of gas...

much like the hot section of a turbine engine, if you push a given volume of gas into a smaller tube, it goes faster.
in the fat portion of the pipe, it slows down and cools off a bit.
I understand that.

is there anything inside the pipe?
or is it simply an open cavity with the cooling ports in it?

Ive fabbed lots of stainless before, I can roll cones, Tig that stuff ( far better than the welds ive seen pictures of on those tnt pipes)

so thats why I am asking... is there something hidden there?
im thinking that all of the engineering has already been done, its there, copy the volume, shape, and bleed location, and what else am I missing?

I might be mistaken about you, Give me a call when you get a chance
You sound like you could be up for the challange

IM actually out of the fab business bow, but I figured if I could make a prototype in my garage ( at my leasiure), I could pass it to my old pals at a local shop with the better tooling ( rollers, shears, breaks, and far better Tig machines)

and have them step up the production.

Ill give you a call when I get the chance Paul.

and thanks for the confidence boost!
