Grate for 08 superjet

I am about to purchase a grate for my 08 superjet, but I am not sure whether to go for a deep loader one or for a milder one. Worx has a new model 228 supposely for the SJ but havent seen it yet. Jet dynamics has 2 styles with modified profile for the 08 also. My question is to see if anyone has already put one on the new hull, which is quite different from the old one. This hull really STOPS when you get off the gas, and has a lot of hookup, so I am unsure whether a really deep grate is needed. I dont want to loose any top end ! :rant: This ski is REALLY fast stock.

it depends on what you're doing. For racing I'm sure a grate would help but if you are just out freeriding that thing is near impossible to slash or slide out in stock form. Putting a grate on it is just gonna make it more difficult.

Yes, I know, this thing does not slide at all! I ride on rivers a lot, they usually get a little choppy so I want a bit more of hookup.

I am going to wait until TBM comes out with stuff before I go buying one. The pump area is so different, I think alot of grates would fit but they wouldn't work well. The 2008's slide but you have to be going fast.

just get one test it out for a ride or two and if you dont like it sell it
either way it will hook up better than any stock grate

they slide fine. jsut keep the machine flat. dont lean before you turn.

there was a guy on pwct who just put and intake and ride plate on. said it turned sharper somehow with the plate.
