what he said... grind them nasty ribbs it will really make for a good lay (of fiber glass that is)

I used a 4.5 inch grinder with some wheel on it. It was like a metal grinding whhel but it worked like a charm.

Good luck

i still love the reinforce from the outside idea, think of all the work it saves ya. no removing the motor, no pain in the ass grinding and sanding inside the hull. add some colored pigment and you dont even need to paint afterwards!

:cheer:

an angle grinder /w a sanding wheel will take about 5 minutes to grind all the ribs down... then fill in the bond line /w epoxy resin and glass bubbles /w about 5% fumed silica...

Grind em with a wheel- takes about 7.53 minutes. Since your the rob you are, we are gonna grind em down, for ease of time laying it up. Then we glass. And Romack (robs gonna need glass on the outside, lol- You've seen his mess)

I call you now rob
