I put a stock 760 with electronics into my square nose this past winter and have been playing with different setups all summer. I looked multiple times for threads like this and i have never seen this, but i wish i had. This is very good information for someone thinking of putting a 760 in there superjets! I was thinking of doing a top end because my compression was off on the one cylinder but this answers that question. Thanks for bumping this thread speedracer!

If anyone has any questions about putting a 760 into a superjet let me know i played with my setup all summer and love it now. But it took me awhile and alot of researching!

I am running a Riva racing head so the compression issue is solved, I have brand spanking new electronics for a 760, I figured I might as well use them.

I believe most people with 760 engines just convert the 64X flywheel, stator, front cover, wiring and CDI unit to the 61X or 62T setup because the flywheels are much lighter with more CDI options.

If you use the 760 flywheel and remove the lump of it. you would be able to run an ignitech ignition on it cheaply and reliably.
You will have the weight of the stock flywheel however.
I used to pull the magnets out of them and run them as a total loss and they were very reliable.

I originally had everything stock and i fit a stock 61x pipe on it( had to bore out bracket and manifold for bigger bolts, and adjustment). Ski ran ok but the stock pipe didnt last long, broke after a couple rides because i could use all factory bolt locations so it vibrated loss. I then installed a bpipe and heli coils into the cylinders to fit factory superjet bolts. When i put the bpipe on i took carbs off and found that the jetting on the stock 44s are different. If i can remember mains were 132.5 and the other main was 135. After a little research i end up with 135 mains and 125 lows to fit the bpipe better. This setup made a huge difference, the motor woke right up and ran great. A couple months later and some more research i added 61x electronics, msd enhancer and #zero lightened flywheel, which is were i am at today. I cant say enough at how happy i am with the performance, better then most 701s i have ever ridden. A lot of people have test ridden my ski and are shocked at how much power it produces. The best part is i did it all in a sqaure nose with stock graphics so its a sleeper. Just purchased a ada head and domes to put on, excited to see what happens, will give a report! I got picture of my setup will try and post some soon.

Here are pictures of my ski how it sits. The pipe is actually a coffmans manifold with old old bpipe set-up for 650. Did clean it up to match 760 alittle, works great for the $.

Wow thats a straight old square nose. Kinda cool having it as a sleeper

Thanks! I tried to do everything i could on it but keep the stock look, but there is alot of aftermarket parts on it. Unfortanetly It was kinda a summer test project on my girlfriends ski and it will be going back to a stock 650. Have to make the girlfriend happy! But i will be moving the setup to my new hull which i am very excited about. I have alot more goodies for it coming to help it out even more!
