H20 Designs Ebox

Upon arrival it looks like a great quality piece well under the cost of a Cold Fusion Ebox ($429).

Will be Testing a Reviewing it rather soon as my build get started and I swap over parts and assemble.

Also want to thank Steve for his quality customer service and shipping me this before the Daytona Freeride.

Got one on the way for my next surf hull. Im going to build it and sink the ebox like a life proof case, then check for leaks. Always wanted one of these now I can afford one for my surf hull.

does this require your core back e box to be sent in ?

I don't know anything about sending cores in and I don't think fast elements wants people
Sending them cores. If you do not but the complete assembly option that Fast Elements offers , you can just use your stock Ebox backing.

I got mine as a Promo Deal and it came complete with a stock backing Powdercoated silver.

I been waiting for a product like this for a long time. I could never fathom spending the $429 on the cold fusion ebox. So glad I didn't spend $350 on the Atp box Black Friday as well. Props to fast elements on this product.

I was playing with these on the way down to daytona. For sure a quality piece at an excellent price. Now if there was only one for total loss.......

I was just confused, it says billet ( so basically its a copy of the oem rear of the box ) .

2'nd that for TL box....much need for affordable price

This looks nice and almost a exact replica of the CF one I bought. I paid $279 for mine 3 years back and used my own OEM back plate. Only tidbit to mention is to rebuild with a brand new ebox gasket and make sure all of ur grommets are clean (no goop or silicone residue) and the holes seal against the cables. I RTV the backside of my grommets to make sure on water entry.

Looks like a quality piece. Kudos to H2O designs for offering a competitive design.

@Pablo We just wanted to clarify on the product that it is a different design. We wanted to alleviate using the back OEM gasket with the stock box, that was the big push for this product. This has been prone to failure and many times needs to be replaced when putting the ebox back-together. Now the back is O'ring sealed and we do not use the OEM gasket at all.

OK, Just got mine. I think a major default in the design is the fact that the spark plug grommets are on top instead of on bottom. This requires different longer bolts and spacers to make it "somewhat OK." Even after being "somewhat OK," the spark plug wires are bent in an awkward position that will probably cost some overall lifetime expectancy to dwindle.

I also do not have a whole lot of faith in these REALLY skinny O-rings meant for sealing both sides of the e-box. Is there any replacements offered?

Cold Fusion got the spark plug grommet locations right.... Wishing i spent a little more money on the real deal at this point. HOWEVER, i got mine used and spent next to nothing on it, so i can't complain too much, but i do want others to be aware!

If this is a problem H2o already fixed, please send me the updated one, and i will retract these statements. = )
