hmmm ill have to take a look at that, my negative battery cable is grounded to my cylinder i dont think that makes a difference. im thinking with all the parts i have tried it could be a good chance that it is a ground, especially since this prob occurred after salt water use ... i guess ill give that a shot

Make sure BOTH ground wires are good and getting a GOOD connection. But this still sounds like enhancer OR start stop switch issues to me. But start with the grounds and go from there.

I have completely by passed the ss switch by just touching the two start wires from the box as well as checking both switches i tried with a continuity tester.... definitely not the start stop switch.


As for the enhancer, I replaced it with two cdi's that I know are good (one from new box, and one from my original box before I got the enhancer) so I would make the assumption that the cdi is not the issue either
