Super Jet Handle Pole Pad

Bit of a dumb question, I just can't make a decision on what I want to do.

I am running an 08 SJ with stock pole and stock hood. I have a handle pole pad (the pre-cut one from Blowsion or Wamiltons, can't remember where I bought it from), I'm not sure where I should place it. I could stick it on the pole or on the hood somewhere. Nowhere really seems right.

Where do people usually stick these things on a stock hood? Thanks.

Most people place it on the hood, though I've seen people place it on the bottom of the pool. I had to read this 3 times before trying to figure out what you were saying. I thought you meant pole pad as in chin pad and thought you got a cover up or something.

Your referring to what most people call a "shock pad". Most put it at the top of the hood, closest to you at the tray. Pretty much where your pole would hit first if it were to come crashing down. Play with it and your set up to see where that point is.
