be nice and ask someone to send you a chunk of 25mm foam and put a piece of hydro on top.

I have a sheet of 25mm that I just bought to do my tray, I would be happy to send you a piece, PM me your address and once I am finished I can send you a scrap. Let me know how big I am sure I can hook you up.

eh, when i posted that i was thinking of pad ON the pole under the chin guard to protect your legs. My bad. oh well.

Home Depot sells these funky kids play area foam flooring things.
They come in 24" x 24" interlocking sheets (4 per package) and are 1" thick.

Work great for pole pads, battery tray reducers (I run a small battery) and anything else where padding is needed.
A pack of 4 lasts a long time.

couldn't i just pad the whole ski with this?
