where would you mount the cable holder on version 2?.....inside the tube?

Probably to move the bars forward for more control of the ski. It's possible as long as you figure a way to move the steering cable forward and keep a steering stop bolt as well which I highly doubt.

To fix the steering cable and do a steering Stopp should be no Problem. I just think about to Save some weight on the Handlepole, and Reduce the angle. But i got no Idea why they all so Long in this area...

I think you missed my point, the distance from the turn plate to the steering cable holder remains the same , so if you move the turn plate back you will need to move the steering cable holder back the same amount....which you may find is somewhere back inside the tubes....

I Understand that. Is that the only reason for this Long Plate? Make a Adjustable holder inside the Tube is no Problem.
