Super Jet Handlepole Problems - Bent?

I cant figure this one out, so maybe some of you will know.

My handlepole sits to the left of the hood and it rubs it pretty bad on the upper corner. Ive tried to find a bend or something in the handlepole itself but it appears to be straight. Could this be a bent bracket mount for the pole, or?

The handlepole does have about 1/2 inch of play side to side, not sure if thats normal or not as this is my first stand up.

I will be taking it apart to put a blowsion handlepole spring soon.

My ski did that and was the pole bracket shifted....two guys grabbed it and pulled then retightened the bracket

Sounds to me like the bushings on the pole are worn out. Replace them when you do the new spring. My wifes squarenose was the same way and it was blown out bushings. Good luck and welcome to skiing bro! Any other questions feel free to give our shop a call for any advice
