Handlepole Springs

I just ruined a brand new Blowsion handlepole spring trying to get it to fit on my RRP handlepole. Is there an aftermarket spring that fits directly onto an RRP handlepole? I have a spring that fits ok, I’m not sure where it came from but it is steel and it is not quite strong enough. I bent it to give it a bit more tension but I’m just not that happy with it. Can anyone suggest the best option for a handlepole spring on an RRP handlepole? Thanks!

I have one on this hull I just bought that isn’t doing anything anyways (poles stupid tight) you could have if I can get the little fella off there lol
I can post pics tonight if you want

I’m not sure what pole bracket you have but I have a blowsion spring with an RRP cast pole on an oem superjet bracket and it works/fits normally. I also have a billet RRP on a Kawi RRP bracket that uses a Yamaha style spring and everything fits well there too. Can you post a pic?

In the past I have had good luck heating the oem spring with a torch and rebending it. A rebent stock spring will hold up a handlepole well too.

I had to heat/cut the spring to fit as well, it’s a nightmare. I have heard kawi 750/800 springs work but never tried. I have an extra if you want to try that.

The 750/800 spring might be tough with the breather tubes but the coiled area is smaller diameter so that is nice. I think I have a Blowsion spring in my RRP pole/bracket and I just had to cut down the hull side a bit and swear at it a lot.
