thanks for the info. would you recommend the trailer? how solid is it without it being welded and just bolted together? I see you're going to weld yours, is that because you're not happy with how solid it is?

i just need it for a b1 and sj. i work at west marine and can get stainless hardware really cheap so I planning on using all stainless when I put it together.

It is fine bolted together, I just get bored in the winter.

mods:
larger tires
stainless steel bolts

bradshaw jug rack
wheel stand
guides on bunks
mounted lights upward on guide posts
cut some of the metal off the trailer, kept dinging my knees on it

Where did you bought the storage bin and the jug rack ?

I have one of them that I converted into a 2 story the frame is good but tire did not last and the spring bar broke so, I got that changed and no problem since. When I purchase mine on line I got it for 350 shipped in 1999.

I have one too, got it for $379 on sale
Plus freight

I am thinking about pushing the WR500 back and putting my new SN across the front. However, the second story idea looks good too. Probably stick with the sideways SN.

IMO you'd be pressing your luck putting 3 skis on there,
at least not without going to larger tires and bigger springs.
(is the spring position adjustable?)

HF has it on sale right now by the way.

Springs are fixed, but anything can be adjusted with a sawzall and welder.

well, it is rated at 800#
WR500 - 328#, 750sx - 318#, SN- 287# which equals 933#

HMMM maybe time to lose the WR500? Girl would not like that!

I have a short pull to the lake so it will probably not be an issue.

i picked one up and it works great bolted. it was bought in cali, the guy moved from cali to michigan and then down here to dallas. said he never had to retighted any bolts the entire time he owned it. i like it and it pulls really good for a bolt together.

Hey, that one costs less, is bigger and can easily hold 3 of my skis once it gets bunks (at least weight wise) :frown:
However the PWC trailer is hot dip galvanized

Wanna trade? :cool2:

Too bad you are in PA

do you have to replace the trailer lights with submersible lights? if you didnt would you just unplug the lights from your truck before you back it in water? I wouldnt want to short anything in my truck.

I have the same one. I got mine from a buddy who didn't want it... So I can't complain... However, its just a flat bed right now. I want to get the brackets to put 2x4 bunks on it, I will put a 2x8 or so plank down the middle, and maybe some type of a chest up front...

I'll keep you updated while I work on it, or if you do anything with yours, please post it up so I can follow along!
