Hard rock and metal thread

I'm very bored at work so figured I would start a thread strictly with hard rock and heavy metal talk and videos. 95% of the time I'm listening to rock and the other 5% is hip hop or newer pop music (can't stand country).

Just heard zombies new track "everyone is f@cking in a UFO" on octane this morning. Not sure about this one yet, I'm a huge Rob zombie fan so im Sure it will grow on me once I hear it a couple more times.

Cant remember the name. Heard it on Eddie Trunks show on sirius satellite radio a few weeks ago.

I get about seven or so rock stations on the radio around me and not one plays it. But i hear guns n roses knockin on heavens door four times a day . The radio is pathetic.

Gotcha, our stations suck around here too. Don't get me wrong I love classic rock too, but hearing the same song 8-9 times a day gets old.

The new, just released Megadeth Dysotopia album is unbelievable. If you like the older Megadeth, then you will like this.
Kiko Loureo(SP) rips on that guitar and has some Friedman type sounding licks, and that drummer from Children of Bodem kick ass! Hope this setup stays for awhile..:)

It's funny the first CD I ever bought was megadeth's greatest hits. Think I was 13 or 14 at the time. Grew up listening to older rock since that's what my parents listened to like AC/DC, led zepplin, Van Halen, ozzy, etc...

I don't mind Jose in small dosoes, he does get on my nerves after a little while when he's on octane. I like Grant random, dude is funny as he'll!

Anyone been hearing about all the stuff Wes Scantlin from puddle of mud has been stirring up in the past year? Arrested multiple times for dui, possession of a controlled substance, vandalism of his previous home, riding a baggage claim at a airport. Lol, dude is going for some kind of record.

I love me some older Megadeth, Slayer, IJFA Metallica and earlier, and the greats like Ozzy (first 2 solo albums especially). Not too much of a fan of a lot of newer metal with some exceptions. Idk if you count System of a Down, Helmet, Snapcase, Pantera, as "newer", but I like that stuff. Thanks for the new Megadeth plug, I'll be looking for that! I saw them on the Audience channel playing live a couple of years ago and Dave M. still rips it like it's 1987 (actually probably better; he's clean now).
