I want to know to, i will up in north west michigan near glen arbor this weekend on at a friend's lakehouse. How cold is the water? I might run a pisser to the tray depending.

About a dozen times, its been 40-50 the last few weeks by me, but thats by silver beach. River has been low 60's a couple of days mainly mid 50's.

i will be at grand haven or ludington this sat jumping boat wakes. the great lakes are COLD but the in land lakes are just a wet suit and shoes.

Ive ridden a few times this year. Once in Lake Huron, and twice in a river close by. Huron was coldd. Bunch of ships sitting out there because Superior is apparently still frozen over. River I wasnt even wearing a wet suit though. Depends on how bad you wanna ride I suppose. I personally cant wait to get back out on Huron or a ski in general. Been too long a winter.

-RivMan- took it out on lake michigan with some solid 4-5 footers and got tossed around, but once i got comfortable riding in waves compared to the river it was awesome.

Rode on lake Michigan today near in the northwest corner. The water was complete glass, no waves at all however it was only 44 degrees up north. I had to use a 3mil wetsuit, gloves and neoprene boots to stay warm.

I hit up GH yesterday it wasn't to bad with the right gear on. Had blast then my be pipe chamber fell off in the channel on the way in.
