Surfriding Has anyone ever rode at Panama City beach?

We’re taking a Family trip for the weekend to Panama City beach in a few weeks. I would love to take a ski with me on the hitch hauler and try surf. Has anyone ever rode freestyle ski there? I found a rental company that will bring my ski from the parking lot to the ocean in the am and back out in the pm. But is it worth bringing to ride there on Panama City beach? Or is there somewhere within 20 min I could go for a few hours one evening? Any insight is helpful. Thanks.

Yes! Bring it. There is a crew that rides the lake / pass frequently. I am in the Pensacola beach area. 2hrs west of pcb.

Lake mead just west of downtown PCB has a Public ramp and there’s a pass that goes out to the ocean might be open maybe closed There’s also a resort called pinnacle Fort have a rent but you have to stay there to use it
