Has anyone ever wore these jet pilot boots

Does anyone have and experience with these boots? I'm looking for something with some ankle support for harder landings. A few years ago I landed hard on my left foot and ripped a ligament I believe. It still bothers me here and there just want something with a little support. When I snowboard it never bothers me so that extra support on the ski would be nice. http://www.watercraftsuperstore.net/Jet-Pilot-Flight-Lace-Up-Boot.html
Since they have 20 percent off figured noes the time to buy. Thanks in advance

I wear those. A lot of heel so I have to ajust my foot holds bigger as compared to when i use a wrestling shoe. The top grips my my RRP foothold good... The shoes laces are always coming undone, I wet the shoe then Final tie them in a double knot and it works better

Edit: I wear then for support of the ball of my heal, I think they are a Little short for ancle support, dunno

Jet Tribe!

Yep. Jet Tribe RS15 Race boots. I've tried pretty much every 'Jet Ski' shoe and boot out there. These are the best for me by a mile. Plus Jet Pilot's quality is just non existent. If you can get one season out of anything they manufacture, you aren't riding enough or hard enough. And don't jump on the bandwagon as far as wrestling shoes either. Pretty sure those are worn by guys that have never worn a decent riding boot, and all their buddies wear wrestling shoes. Kinda like Budweiser. People drink it because their Dads and uncles and older brothers do, and they've never tried a good beer....same deal with F150s.

The new jettribe boots are awesome I can't wait to try them. Got a black fri deal on them. And you need at least 18mm tray padding

Those do seem pretty nice.

The jettribe 2.0 feels like the boots are almost helping to hold your weight at the ankle, unlike any shoe I've used. And no laces to deal with, great feature imo. Will report back after test ride.

You're just talking about shoes right?

My Jet Pilot vests have survived everything. I have a Large Neoprene for spring/fall/winter and Medium Nylon for summer.
JP Swimming trunks last about two seasons, and I live in them on summer weekends.

In colder water when I need my full wetsuit and other ride gear I use Ronstan race boots. They have lasted me 2 seasons already and no signs of wearing out. So far the best I have owned to date. For warmer weather riding I bought a pair of Starter brand low cut shoes from Walmart for 19 bucks. They don't have too much heel, are very comfy and have enough padded sole to keep my feet nice and snug inside the footholds. Here are the Ronstan race boots I use...

Their gloves typically last about 1 ride. My JP vest went to hell in one season. The one pair of their 'boots' I owned came unglued in less than a month. And this is all freshwater use, if that matters.
