Has anyone ridden an 08 SJ hull with big power?

Steve u going to put a -6 chop on one of these 08's to see what happens. I know my buds sxr hooked up so well u couldnt do the basic hood tricks and slides..well not easily. when i put a -4 chop on it for him,night and day.Slides were perfect and hooked plenty when u wanted it to. And minimul porposing. Figured same would apply to the 08 sj deck. Ive deff be curious.

The 08 is a much superior hull than the pre 08 , it just needs a few modifications to make it the best all around hull. I am actually considering widening the rear of the hull to help with low speed stability and increase playfullness. I am working on making some rear side sponsons for that reason.

The boat he is talking about has a fairly aggressive freestyle porting job with dual 48mm Novis, B pipe, Rick Roy pole, and is running 225 compression. He has a nice trim setup and it rips hard. When I rode it would hand you your azz if you did not watch it. Nice boat but like Steve said it wants to rail and not slide. I think with a better ride plate and some tweaking it could be improved upon.

The ski unhooks but you need to be very agressive with it. It does then to throw you every now and again.
