Has any ever used one of these chopping on their ski with? this thing looks like you could use it to modify just about any part of the hull with.
I saw a guy on here having trouble removing hydroturf from a ski. it has a scraper function that looks like it would zip the stuff off with no problems.

we use them for installing flush mount floor vents in 3/4" hardwood flooring. They work great. You can get a generic at Lowes.

I was wondering how they would cut through 3/4" wood.I want to install tile at my front door where there is wood now and there is a closet built over top so I would have to cut out the floor for the length of the closet and inside.

Did a search on these last week and didn't find much
What brand does louwes sell,Ive seen dremel for $100 and there is one for sale on TV.who else sells them now

Yeah I got one of those things too and they work great. If anything ever happens to it im definately going to have to replace it. I got it for a birthday present about 2 years ago and thought to myself, what the hell am I going to use this thing for? Now its one of my favorite tools.

I had the opportunity to use one in my Typhoon flatdeck mod. I got the rails cut off FLUSH to the tray! This thing is incredible!

The amount of control is amazing.

The turf glue DID scrape right off with the knife blade!

The FEIN has a variable-speed adjustment. Some of the copy-cats do not.

I am currently shopping for one - I saw a couple go on EBAY. I missed one that went for $75 because the guy had it listed as a SANDER. (I got distracted by my latest build)

I would say that this tool is a must-have.

I have a pneumatic version of one. It's great for all sorts of stuff...

I also posted how cool they are...over two years ago in my build.

well, they said they've been around for over 25 years. I had never seen one before until I watched the infomercial on the thing. I just started thinking I bet those things would be killer for rippin up a ski..lol that scraper attachment looks like it would make removal of turf be a breeze.

Its funny seeing this thing, we have been using this tool for year and years for help removing car windshields. Although as long as Ive used it, I didnt really give it a thought to try it on jetski stuff b/c the only adaptor we have is a knife blade. Cuts polyurethene awesome but not plastics too well (burns through it). We kill these things like crazy though, try not to run them on speed 6 and dont put any stress on the cord where it enters the tool. Besides that, like I said these are very good at what they do.

I borrowed one of these to redo my footholds and it is now one of my favourite tools. Turf peels off like butter and it works great for cutting thru thick layers of fiberglass too. I picked up a cheap single speed version from harbour freight to use until I can get a good deal on a Fein. This is one of those tools that looks like another gimmick but delivers well beyond expectation. I'm still trying to figure out why they haven't caught on more?
