I have owned 3 BOBs )gen 1 glass, gen 2 carbon, and gen 2 "surf layup") and they all suck in the surf IMO. My twin brother on the other hand likes the way they ride when setup a little heavier. In my OPINION they handle sloppy, the are way to light, and they are super exhustung after 30 seconds. I prefer to stick with a superjet piped and propped. BOB guys get way to offended at the truth and even DK admits that they were never intended for the surf. No need to defend yourself when the owner knows that the 3 generations suck in the surf!
