Freestyle Hauling with no trailer

What is your preference? I have Yamaha AR192 and a Superjet. I was thinking to get a front hitch.

With the Jetski in front, the truck tends to run a little hot. If it's a hot day (90+), it can overheat.
With the ski in back, I needed a class V receiver ($130) and air bags (already had them).
It definitely works better with it in back. Plus launching or pulling out is way easier.

Build you and air scoop for force air up to the grill!

Good point with the overheating! I'm going to buy a 3rd gen pathfinder and they are rated for 600lb tongue weight and 6000lb towing capacity. I think if I am close to 600lb then I can move the boat a little on the trailer. My boat is supposed to weigh 2800-3000lbs fully loaded.

Yea, my boat is every bit of 5000 lbs, probably more loaded, & 300 -350 lbs tongue weight. So I figured 700 lbs conservatively with the weight out that far.
It doesn't really change much as far as how the truck drives. Even in reverse, it might slow the turning down a bit, if at all.

BTW, I bought an 02 Jeep Wrangler recently. Hoping to set it up with the Jetski on the back this summer. Have my eye on the Curt receiver rated for 400 lbs.

Here’s how I took the skis out to havasu.

I know that people have unique situations. I would buy a rickety trailer before I tried to load a ski over my head.

When I use the sled deck for skis I winch them up with roller blade wheels on the ramp and an atv winch mounted at the front of the bed.
