I don't think it's a JD. JD's have one bar running through the middle the entire length of the the intake grate. That first one only has the middle bar on the first half of the intake grate then it goes to two outside bars.

If I had to guess I'd say the 2nd one is a Solas. I'm pretty sure Solas Intake Grates are black like that:

solas has multiple scoops. 1st one looks like and R&D/Wammer. 2nd one is a mystery

i have the JD grate. it works well. i think the worx style grates might be a little stronger than the JD grates.

but any toploader design is better stock so you can't lose.
