Help broken ride plate inserts on 750sx

spork

down with the sickness
I'm sure this has happened to someone else, but i ripped one side of the inserts out of the hull of my 95 750sx where the ride plate bolts to. Any idea the best route to take to repair?

i ripped out 2 on one side of my 94 sx hull, do you still have them? i had 1 and had to get 1. i went to sears hardware and bought a long coupler nut, was american and a lil bigger bolt hole, i think, but it worked. any way flipped the ske over, sanded and scuffed the holes. made grooves in the slug and new coupler nut one the bench grinder. cleaned everything, and used a 2 part epoxy made by Fuser. cant remember what type it was, one tube was brown, nad one was white. it is made for SMC repair. got it at a body shop supply place. worked like a champ!!!!!!! 330-506-0183. call me tomorrow if you have questions....

No prob, I've never used these before, will the bolt install flush with rideplate?

Be sure to mount insert flush with hull. You will re-use your stock plate mount hardware (bolts). The one that comes with the kit is used as a tool for installing them.
