Obviously it wasn't fully taken out like the parts on the walls so she will have to do radiation but they are trying to wake her up now and hoping she knows who she is and no memory lost

Just now seeing this. I saw the FB thing but didn't know what the deal was...

My dad had a very similar condition in 2009 and came out fine. It was pushing on his optic nerve and pituitary gland. It wasn't cancerous, but it was giving him terrible headaches and right before his procedure he couldn't formulate sentences. He had the words in his head but couldn't speak them.
After the surgery, his left eye kicked way to the left for about 6 months, he did vision exercises and it literally popped back into 'place'.

The other interesting side effect is his mood. For two weeks after the surgery he was the happiest person in the world. He bought my Mom a new Infinity G37, paid for a remodel on the house etc. He's the cheapest man I know. His serotonin levels balanced out and he was back to being the grumpy old man I know and love. But regardless it was interesting.

All I can tell you is that modern medicine and today's surgeons are amazing... I'm sure she'll be ok, but I know how you feel and how scary it is. Good luck brotha. Keep us updated.

Tough to hear but glad shes opening her eyes! I have a friend that went through similar last year and spent alot of time with him at the hospital, he would get the same agitated way at the nurses and doctors, lol!

Yeah they really don't let you rest, and it wakes whoever is in the room. Its a beating. I remember them coming in every 3 hours to do the name thing and check BP etc... Ugh...

when i was in for my injury, they would come in every couple hours waking me up whether it was for drawing blood or checking blood pressure or whatever else...it is rough...but again I am glad to hear things are going great and i will be continuously checking on this thread for updates and will be praying
