Hey there,
So i just finished bolting my ski back together with a PHP 1015 and 155 pump. I took it out for its first ride yesterday. Did the normal carb screw tuning and the fueling seems "ok" and the plugs look good, but its got no bottom end. the 781 that was in it before pulled way harder. The motor definitely makes power. If i whip the back end around then get on it its got good power if it can get the revs up before the pump really hooks up, but it has no power just trying to blip the throttle, then full throttle off a wake like you'd do when jumping/flipping etc. It's really hard to tell if, when it does feel good, it is because there is no load on the pump and it can rev, or because the waterbox clears out or something.
I'm not sure what to try next and before I go harass Zack from PHP again (he's been EXTREMMMMMELY helpful BTW - bought this motor used and he's still very willing to help), I'd like to see what I can get worked out on my own (or with the help of the X).
Here are the details:
1 year old PHP 1015. Setup for pump gas. Measured 175-180psi (can't recall exact number)
PHP intake, vforce3 reeds, novi 48s
PFP pipe run dry. Port matched manifold to engine
Zelltronic ignition, wax curve, lightened charging flywheel (have a TL flywheel also, but have not tried it yet)
Carb setup:
21PSI pop off, 2.5 NS, 115g spring
135 pilot, 125 main (per recommendation)
Screws: Low: 3/4, High: 1-3/4
Pump:
Stock 155 pump
Thrust trim
Bored exit nozzle 89mm
Delran wear ring (brand new)
Stock cone (slight delay in my stubby cone order. stubby will be in this week)
Skat Impeller. Impeller says 11/16 on it but friend measure it at 13/16. I need to take it out and check it myself
What I've Tried:

What I've Tried:
- Temp strips never registered anything on waterbox, so I tried drying it out. That seemed to help a bit. I still can't get it to register anything on the temp strip. Recommendation is to run the box at 150 degrees.
- General carb screw tuning. I tried leaning both low and high end way out, that only caused hesitation issues. Richening beyond where it's at didn't do a whole lot.
- Verified Zeeltronic is using the Wax curve and not the lower power curve
- Remove impeller, check pitch, re-pitch to 11/16 if its actually 13/16
- Switch to 2.3NS and bring pop-off up a bit
